Sabbath

(Left: Xian's pic of The Vine on Nikon D300)
I have great thanksgiving today:
1) Breakfast with a friend from EDB in Hong Kong;
2) Getting to Hong Kong station on time for check-in, and God answering my prayers of being able to check-in a rather overweight luggage with no problems;
3) Meeting up with Tao Sun, an old friend, at The Vine;
4) Almost totally healed of food poisoning;
5) Having internet connection in Hong Kong and now in Delhi as well.

Perhaps the greatest item for thanksgiving is my meeting with a designer in Hong Kong for the d.light project. This was preceded by my visit to The Vine, a Hong Kong church. When I was at the church, my eyes fell on their logo, which had 9 circles forming the fruits of a grapevine. Back then, I just thought that their logo needed some improving (sorry guys). The funny thing was that when I was waiting for my meeting at Clipper's lounge at the Oriental, the menu had nothing but a bunch of grapes, also made up of 9 circles done in the same style. It was as though God was saying, "Even this, is in My hands". It's wonderful that God chose such a pictorial afformation of His presence when I'm doing a project on corporate design.
